All started with this video the story of stuff/cosmetics. i was surfing the internet for evidence that supports the banning of the use of bottle water, then i found the story of stuff series videos. i became a fan. I really like this video because it shows all the toxins and chemicals the cosmetics and personal care products have. All of this stuff is making us sick and it should not be this way. The video also shows the reality of the cosmetics industry and how the big cosmetics and personal care products corporations get away with putting so many toxic substances in their products. Their argument is that the amount of toxic chemicals  is tiny. But if you add all the tiny bits of toxins from shampoo to the make-up and hair straighteners, all can add to a substantial amount of toxic. Also,  you have to add the fact that we put them in our bodies every day. I really got mad at the end of the video because the cosmetics and personal care corporations are getting away with putting carcinogens (substances that have been proven to cause cancer in animals and most probable to cause cancer in humans) in our products and cosmetics. This is not right. So the first step is to realize and be a very well informed consumer for the good of your health and the health of your family.
